Max Gao is a freelance journalist based in Toronto and Montreal. In addition to The Hollywood Reporter, he has written for The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, NBC News, Teen Vogue, Sports Illustrated, The Daily Beast, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, W, Men's Health, and other publications. Max specializes in writing features and profiles about the rising and established players in sports and entertainment. He has also worked as an official writer and photographer for the National Bank Open and will graduate from McGill University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Management and Finance.
